School of Education participated in the Educational Quality Assessment for Excellence (EdPEx) for the academic year 2024
On November 8-9, 2025, the School of Education, University of Phayao, participated in the Educational Quality Assessment for Excellence (EdPEx: Education Criteria for Performance Excellence), faculty level, fiscal year 2024, at the School of Education meeting room, University of Phayao. It was led by Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean of the School of Education, along with administrators, lecturers, and supporting staff, welcomed the evaluation committee, consisting of: Assistant Professor Tawanchai Phohom, the Lecturer in the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Ubon Ratchathani University (Committee Chair); Assistant Professor Dr. Suwanna Dechathai, the Lecturer at the School of Science, Mae Fah Luang University (Committee Member); and Dr. Warat Mathayomburut, the Deputy Director of the Innovation and Technology Transfer Institute, University of Phayao (Committee Member). The purpose of this evaluation is to assess the progress of applying the EdPEx criteria in the administration of the School of Education. The assessment covers seven main categories: Leadership, Strategy, Customers, Measurement, Analysis and Knowledge Management, Workforce, Operations, and Organizational Results.


However, this evaluation serves as an important mechanism for reflecting the strengths and opportunities for improvement, aiming to enhance the quality of the Faculty of Education’s operations in alignment with the mission and strategies of the University of Phayao. It strives to move toward becoming an organization with a sustainable, internationally recognized quality management system. This aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 4, Promoting inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities (Quality Education), SDG 8, Promoting decent work and economic growth (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 16, Promoting peace, justice, and strong institutions (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions), and SDG 17, Strengthening partnerships for sustainable development (Partnerships for the Goals).
