From December 15–18, 2025, Miss Pimsiri Suwannapat, Lecturer and students from the School of Energy and Environment participated the 8th Thaiflux Academic Network Workshop, entitled “Flux Science in Practice and Future: Integrating AI, Field Measurement, Remote Sensing, and Modeling for Agriculture and Forestry.” The workshop was held in collaboration with senior researchers from GISTDA, Campbell Scientific, and Kasetsart University, with the objective of exchanging knowledge on air quality measurement using the eddy covariance technique. On this occasion, three students presented their research in poster format, as follows:
1. Ms. Jutarat Tongbai
2. Ms. Benjarat Thitaya
3. Mr. Eakalak Khao-in
In addition to the conference sessions, the participants also joined a workshop on energy balance measurement techniques, including environmental factors affecting global energy exchange. This activity took place at the Eddy Covariance Flux Tower at the Sakaerat Environmental Research Station, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.
The workshop played a significant role in strengthening academic collaboration networks among faculty members, researchers, and students from various institutions, both domestic and international. It facilitated the exchange of knowledge, experience, and research approaches related to the systematic and internationally standardized measurement of energy, carbon, and water vapor exchanges between ecosystems and the atmosphere. Furthermore, the workshop promoted the integration of advanced technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Remote Sensing, and spatial modeling, to support the development of research in agriculture and forestry, urban systems, sustainable natural resource management, and climate change adaptation for the future.
