School of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao undergoes Internal Quality Assessment, Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) for Academic Year 2024 on 27 November 2025. Committee Members comprised:

Participants from the School were Asst. Prof. Dr. Chittima Kaweera (Dean), along with administrators, program chairs, academic staff, department heads, and support personnel. Assessment Process and Site Visit In addition to document review and stakeholder interviews, the assessment included a site visit to key academic and facility areas, such as academic buildings, language laboratories, and the language-testing center.


This visit allowed the panel to assess the School’s infrastructure, teaching and testing environments, and overall readiness to support academic and administrative operations. During the visit, the School also demonstrated implementation of Green Office practices, including efficient use of resources, waste reduction and segregation, conservation of energy and materials, and maintenance of a sustainable, eco-friendly working environment. Results and Next Steps Following the review, the committee compiled its findings including overall Key Themes and criterion-by-criterion evaluations. These results will be shared with the School and used as the basis for ongoing improvement and development efforts under the EdPEx framework.
