The School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Apichat Buakla, Vice Dean for Administration and Special Affairs, together with procurement officers and relevant personnel, participated in the “Knowledge Exchange Program on Construction Management and Knowledge Management (KM) Improvement for Fiscal Year 2026” on 12 February 2026 at Meeting Room EN1104, School of Engineering. The program was presided over by Mr. Anonnat Jeenioud, Director of the Office of the President, University of Phayao, with the participation of staff from the Division of Buildings and Facilities.
The initiative aimed to strengthen institutional knowledge in construction management and the improvement of university facilities to ensure efficiency, transparency, and alignment with the principles of good governance. It further sought to reinforce systematic knowledge management mechanisms by capturing, transferring, and institutionalizing practical experience into structured operational practices. The program provided a platform for interdepartmental dialogue, enabling participants to exchange experiences, discuss challenges and constraints, and propose developmental strategies. Such collaborative engagement contributes to minimizing operational redundancies, enhancing budgetary cost-effectiveness, and promoting evidence-informed administrative practices.
In addition, participants conducted a site visit to the School’s construction areas to observe ongoing operations firsthand and collectively reflect on potential areas for improvement.
This initiative underscores the School of Engineering’s commitment to strengthening infrastructure management systems in a systematic and standards-driven manner, thereby supporting the University of Phayao’s sustainable growth and ensuring the continued advancement of institutional quality in the years ahead.
