On 6 July 2026, faculty members from the School of Business and Communication Arts, University of Phayao, participated in the Academic Staff Development Program entitled “Applying Artificial Intelligence in Learning Management: From Knowledge Transmitters to Learning Experience Designers.” The program was organized by the Division of Educational Services, University of Phayao, at the Active Learning Classroom in the University's New Academic Building. The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Suwit Panyawong, Vice President for Environment and Landscape.
The program featured Associate Professor Dr. Chailert Phichitpornchai, Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, as the keynote speaker. He shared his expertise and practical experience in applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance teaching and learning in higher education, highlighting the evolving role of educators from knowledge transmitters to designers of meaningful learning experiences.
Participation in this program reflects the School of Business and Communication Arts’ commitment to strengthening its faculty members’ competencies in digital technology and Artificial Intelligence. By integrating AI into teaching and learning practices, the School aims to enhance instructional quality in response to the rapidly evolving educational landscape, foster learner-centered learning experiences, and equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to succeed in a society increasingly driven by technology and innovation.
