School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Apichat Buakla, Associate Dean for Administration and Special Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Wassana Naku, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, together with faculty personnel and laboratory instructors, participated in the “UP DMS Outreach Program on Digital Document Management System Utilization” The program was organized by the Central Administration Division of the University of Phayao on 24 February 2026 at the School’s Computer Laboratory (EN 1301).
On this occasion, the School was honored to receive Ms. Nutthida Chawnan, Director of the Central Administration Division, and her team, who provided comprehensive guidance on best practices for system implementation, as well as an introduction to newly developed functions and applications. The session aimed to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of electronic document management processes in alignment with the University’s official regulations on records and correspondence administration.
In the previous year, the School of Engineering was awarded First Prize in the UP DMS Awards 2025, reflecting its strong commitment to advancing an effective, transparent, and accountable document management system. This recent activity therefore represents a strategic mechanism for sustaining and extending that achievement through knowledge exchange and continuous updates to ensure alignment with the University’s evolving information technology infrastructure.
