On 28 November 2025, Professor Dr. Chawasak Rakpenthai, Chair of the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Phayao, visited the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture's, Kasetsart University. The visit aimed to explore potential pathways for academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Parichat Promchoti, Head of the Department of Agronomy, along with School members and researchers.
During the visit, Professor Dr. Chawasak Rakpenthai conducted a demonstration of the Cold Plasma Generator, an advanced technological innovation with high potential for agricultural applications. The technology offers diverse benefits, including seed germination enhancement, reduction of microbial contamination in agricultural products, extension of post-harvest shelf life, and improvement of overall produce quality. The demonstration sparked significant interest among attending scholars and researchers.
