Engineering UP Participates in the TESA Top Gun Rally 2025 Showcasing Embedded Systems Competencies on a National Stage

The School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led by Assistant Professor Dr Thanakarn Suangun and Dr. Buntueng Yana, guided a team of undergraduate students from the Bachelor of Engineering Program in Electrical Engineering to participate in the 19th Embedded Systems Skill Competition (TESA Top Gun Rally 2025). The competition awards the Royal Trophy graciously bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. This year’s event was held under the theme “Defense Innovations” taking place from 9–15 November 2025 at Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, Nakhon Nayok Province.

The initiative was jointly organized by Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy and the Thai Embedded Systems Association (TESA), with support from government agencies, industrial partners, academic institutions, and nationwide developer networks specializing in embedded systems. The program aims to enhance the competencies and deepen the expertise of students, emerging engineers, and technical personnel in the field of Embedded Systems through intensive, practice-oriented, and highly challenging competitive activities.

Participation in this national-level program represents a significant opportunity for students to gain authentic experiential learning, demonstrate the innovative potential of the School of Engineering at the University of Phayao, and contribute to strengthening Thailand’s embedded systems capabilities toward global competitiveness. This initiative also aligns with the School’s mission to cultivate high-quality engineering graduates while advancing scientific and technological development that reinforces the nation’s self-reliance in a sustainable manner.
