On October 31, 2025, the School of Engineering, University of Phayao, organized the “School Landscape Development Project” In the morning, the Landscape and Physical Environment Committee Meeting No. 3/2025 was held at Meeting Room EN1104. The session was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Erawin Thavorn, Associate Dean for Research and Academic Services, who also serves as Chairperson of the Landscape and Physical Environment Committee, together with the committee members and relevant personnel.
The meeting primarily aimed to prepare the School’s landscape, safety measures, and space management prior to the commencement of the new semester. It also included a summary of the previous year’s operations, a discussion on future plans, and an exchange of ideas regarding existing challenges. The discussion emphasized enhancing safety, cleanliness, greenery, and aesthetic appeal within the School area, as well as promoting the efficient utilization of space. In addition, participants deliberated on strategic solutions to address issues encountered in the previous academic year.
In the afternoon, the event continued with the “School of Engineering Landscape Development Activity” which brought together students, School members, cleaning staff, and security personnel. All participants collaborated harmoniously to clean, improve, and refresh the campus landscape, creating an environment that is pleasant, green, and conducive to learning and working. The activity’s objective was to prepare the School for the upcoming academic term while fostering a positive and collaborative learning atmosphere.
The School of Engineering would like to express its sincere appreciation to the Division of Building and Grounds, University of Phayao, for their kind support in assigning landscaping staff to assist in tree pruning and lawn maintenance around the School premises. Their contribution significantly enhanced the School’s overall image, ensuring that the surroundings remain beautiful, organized, and welcoming.
