The School of Energy and Environment (SEEN), University of Phayao (UP), received the Silver Award in the presentation of the "One Faculty, One Innovative Community" Project for the 2024. The award-winning project, titled "Development of Learning Spaces for Energy Technology in Agriculture," was implemented in Ban Mae Ka Hua Thung, Mae Ka Subdistrict, Mueang District, Phayao Province.
The award was presented during the 14th National Phayao Research Conference under the theme "University Role for Area Manager Development." The event was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Torpong Kreetachat, Dean of the SEEN, along with Asst. Prof. Dr. Anusorn Boonpoke, Deputy Dean, and Dr. Poramate Sittisun, Assistant Dean and Project Leader, who accepted the award on behalf of the SEEN.
This project utilized innovative solar-powered water pumping technology and established learning spaces focused on technology and innovation. It also provided training for farmers to gain knowledge in comprehensive agricultural management practices.
