On November 7th, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, the President of the University of Phayao, visited to show his support for blood donors participating in the "SLF United: Blood Donation to Save Lives" initiative. This 12th annual event, organized by the Student Loan Fund (SLF) in collaboration with the University of Phayao, aims to encourage students to engage in social responsibility by donating blood. Through this initiative, students are instilled with values of volunteerism and selflessness. Additionally, this event promotes positive collaboration between the SLF, educational institutions, and local healthcare organizations, such as Phayao Hospital, the Provincial Red Cross Chapter of Phayao, and the Red Cross Blood Bank Donation Centre 10 in Chiang Mai, which provides services for students.

This year's event had a great turnout, with 637 students and university staff members generously donating a total of 222,950 cc of blood. In addition to the blood drive, the event also included a volunteer activity called "Handmade Notebooks for Kids," which was organized by the University of Phayao Volunteer Operations Center. During this activity, students created and decorated notebooks that will be given to children in remote schools for National Children's Day. In total, 309 handmade notebooks were made.

The event was held from November 5th to 7th, 2024 at the Sanguansermsri Building, located at the University of Phayao. On November 6th, 2024, Dr. Wuthichai Chairinkam, Vice President for Student Quality, welcomed Mr. Chainarong Kajchapanan, former Student Loan Fund Manager, and the Student Loan Fund team. They visited to show their support for the students and staff participating in the blood donation activity.
