The School of Political and Social Sciences organized the Faculty-level Internal Education Quality Assurance Evaluation Project year 2023.

On September 20, 2024, the School of Political and Social Sciences, the University of Phayao, organized the annual Faculty-level Education Quality Assurance Evaluation Project, EdPEx, for the academic year 2023. Associate Professor Dr. Montra Pongnil, Dean of the Faculty of Political Science and Social Sciences, welcomed attendees, while Assistant Professor Dr. Chayanun Maneewan, Associate Dean for Administration and Organizational Development, led the project. Kanachaya Koknoi, Acting Head of the Office, served as the project secretary. The event was attended by faculty administrators, faculty members, support staff, and student leaders, and was held in the Faculty's conference room.

The evaluation was conducted by a distinguished panel, including:

• Assistant Professor Dr. Sukon Prasitwattanaseeri (Chair), Associate Dean of the Faculty of Science, Chiang Mai University
• Assistant Professor Dr. Nisara Boonkert, Associate Dean for Academic Quality Assurance, Faculty of Medical Science, University of Phayao
• Assistant Professor Dr. Watchara Jatuporn, Lecturer, College of Education, University of Phayao
• Assistant Professor Dr. Supachai Charoensin, Faculty of Medical Science, University of Phayao
• Orathai Mahawan, Lecturer, Faculty of Architecture and Fine Arts, University of Phayao, served as observers.

The purpose of this project was to undergo an evaluation based on the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx), receive assessment reports from the committee to improve departmental operations, and enhance the faculty’s understanding of quality assurance towards excellence. This aligns with the University of Phayao’s strategy for advancing modern, efficient, transparent, and well-governed management systems.

The School of Political and Social Sciences recognizes the importance of organizational quality assurance for excellence (EdPEx) and is committed to enhancing management quality and educational quality, aiming to create a vibrant, enjoyable, and supportive learning environment.
