Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a Collaborative Project to Increase the Production of Rural Doctors between the School of Medicine, the University of Phayao, and the Ministry of Public Health.
On Friday, May 24th, 2024, at 1:30 p.m., Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, along with Associate Professor Dr. Direk Teeraphuthon, Vice President for Corporate Communications, and Professor Dr. Sukit Pimanmas, Dean of the School of Medicine, participated in a signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a Collaborative Project to Increase the Production of Rural Doctors. This project, a collaboration between the School of Medicine at the University of Phayao and the Ministry of Public Health, aims to address the shortage and unequal distribution of doctors in rural areas.
The ceremony was held at the Samputt Metta Pracharak Room, located on the 9th floor of the Department of Health Service Support, Ministry of Public Health in Bangkok. Dr. Opas Karkawinphong, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Public Health, graced the occasion with a welcome speech, officially opening the event and signing the MOU.
