The School of Political and Social Science, under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Chayanun Maneewan, Vice Dean for Administration and Organizational Development, and the faculty management, academic and support staff, and students of the School of Political and Social Science, joined together to conduct the "Big Cleaning Day & 5S" activity at the faculty office, on December 20, 2023. The objective of this activity was to promote the well-being of personnel within the organization, raise awareness about organizing a conducive environment for the organization, and enhance the working environment.
During the activity, the faculty management, professors, staff, and students participated in the "5S" practices together. These practices included sorting, setting in order, shining, standardizing, and sustaining. They aimed to cultivate a positive attitude toward cleanliness and organization in the workplace, as well as to arrange materials and equipment in an orderly manner to promote efficient work practices, reduce accidents, and minimize risks in the workplace according to the guidelines of the UI Green initiative.
In the afternoon, The School of Political and Social Science, under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Chayanun Maneewan, and the project secretary, Ms. Kanchaya Koknoi, acting on behalf of the head of the office, held a meeting to review the implementation of Green Office initiatives in each project over the past year. This meeting, held at the School of Political and Social Science meeting room, aimed to plan and prepare the School for the Green Office evaluation under the faculty's development strategy for modern, transparent, and ethical management systems.
