Law Quiz UP 2023, High School Contest, on August 26, 2023
The School of Law at the University of Phayao organized the project Law Quiz UP 2023, a high school contest, on August 26, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in room UB003 of the 99 Years Upali Khunupamajarn building, Panya Thipmontha. This event was held in honor of Rapee’s Day, observed annually on August 7th, in honor of Rapee Pattanasak, the father of Thailand’s modern legal system. The winner received the prestigious trophy cup for their contributions and development of the exceptional legal talents of Princess Bajrakitiyabha.
The primary objective of this event is to encourage high school students, children, teenagers, teachers, and the public to develop a correct understanding of the law, fostering interest in and awareness of the importance of law and its real-life applications. In addition, the event aims to promote the School of Law at the University of Phayao, raising its profile in the global arena and enhancing its role as an academic institution dedicated to producing qualified, ethical, and socially responsible graduates.
During the event, Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, the President of the University of Phayao, delivered an opening speech to inaugurate the contest and provide motivation and encouragement to the participants.
