On July 6, 2023, the Student Club of the School of Energy and Environment-SEEN, organized a "Wai Kru" ceremony, a traditional Thai ritual to pay respect and express gratitude to the lecturers. The purpose of the ceremony was to cultivate a sense of appreciation and foster a positive identity among the students of the University of Phayao, emphasizing aesthetics and personal growth. The Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Torpong Kreetachat, along with the administrative board, lecturers, and academic staff, actively participated in the event.
Following the ceremony, the students were invited to partake in the release of "Red tilapia," also known as the "Ruby fish," into the surrounding environment. This activity aimed to promote environmental balance and enhance the overall vitality of the ecosystem.
