On June 20th, 2023, a team of lecturers and researchers from the school of Energy and Environment (SEEN), University of Phayao, under the guidance of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Torpong Kreetachat, presenting their project titled "Enhancing the Moisture Reduction Efficiency of Phayao Organic Black Sticky Rice (commonly known as 'Kao-Kaam') in Granola Products Using an Infrared Radiation Drying System and an Intelligent Temperature Control System." According to the community-driven approach with the BCG economic model” to the social innovation driving unit (SID) in the upper northern region, National Innovation Agency (NIA) at Bio Black Community Enterprise, Chun, Phayao.
This project aims to leverage energy knowledge to address challenges in the organic brown rice processing for granola production. By implementing improvements in the production process, enhancing production capacity, and adopting an efficient approach, the project endeavors to seize business expansion opportunities and enhance competitiveness in the trading sector. The project aligns with the principles of the bio-economy strategy, circular economy, and green economy (Bio-Circular-Green Economy) to promote sustainable and effective trade practices.
