“Health is wealth” is the very notion that gives life to one of the UP 2023 Super KPI’s, well versed as “Good Health, Well-Being: BMI Challenge” The meaning of wellbeing may differ from one person to another. However, from the book entitled Wellbeing: The Five Essential Elements, by #1 New York Times bestselling author Tom Rath and bestselling author Jim Harter, Ph.D., we learn that wellbeing literally reveals five universal, interconnected elements that shape our lives: Career Wellbeing, Social Wellbeing, Financial Wellbeing, Physical Wellbeing and Community Wellbeing. As it brilliantly reverts to these five facts, the UP “Good Health, Well-being” policy is the unanimously adopted by all schools and parties at University of Phayao. Schools and divisions of the University collectively design creative activities to ignite and breathe life into the policy, in their respective areas.
