School of Education participated in the 10th National and the 6th International Education Research Conference (The National and International Conference on Education 2023 (NICE)

     On June 8-9, 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Ruksit Suttipong, the Dean participated in the 10th National and the 6th International Education Research Conference (The National and International Conference on Education 2023 (NICE) under the topic " Cultivating Sustainable and Equitable Education for All” at Centara Hotel, Hat Yai, Songkhla. The event was organized by the Faculty of Education, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus which collaborated with the educational network. Assistant Professor Dr. Niwat Keawpradub, the Rector of Prince of Songkla University, acted as the keynote speaker and welcomed the educational scholars from both domestic and international educational partner organizations, totaling over 30 organizations and more than 500 participants. A total of 178 research papers were presented, consisting of 164 papers for the national conference and 14 papers for the project presentations. The objective of this event was to align with the national education plan of Thailand and the sustainable development goals of the United Nations, aiming to elevate the sustainable and equitable quality of education. It served as a platform for academics, educators, and researchers to present and disseminate their academic work, fostering knowledge exchange and soliciting feedback for further academic development. Additionally, it aimed to expand the educational network to foster collaboration in enhancing the quality of academic work and educational development.

     Within the project, there were special presentations including a Keynote Speech: "Equitable Education for All – Lessons from Finland" by H.E. Jyri Järviaho, Ambassador of Finland to Thailand, a Special Presentation: "Oral Reading Fluency Assessment for Identifying Students At-Risk in Reading Ability" by Professor Dr. Akihito Kamata from Southern Methodist University, USA, and Academic Panel Discussion: The panel will consist of esteemed experts in the field of education from both the public and private sectors. The discussion will be moderated by Associate Professor Dr. Ekkarin Sungtong, the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus
