BCA researchers interview the executives from the Department of Land Transport and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports.

Researchers from the School of Business and Communication Arts (BCA), led by the dean, Assist. Prof. Dr. Prakobsiri Pakdeepinit, and Dr. Piyapong Supanyo, a lecturer in Tourism and Hotel Management, met the Director of the Planning Division of the Department of Land Transport, Miss Suwanna Planpongphan and the Director of the Strategy and Planning Division of Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Miss Wipharat Tharatheeraphap, at the Ministry of Tourism and Sports to conduct the interview for the research project entitled, “Tourism across the frontiers in Northern and Northeastern regions to support the infrastructure changes”. This research project aims to provide guidelines to develop border tourism in Northern and Northeastern regions to support the changes in infrastructure with a focus on Chinese tourists who might have the chance to travel to Thailand by Chinese-Laos train routes. This research is supported by the Program Management Unit on Area-Based Development (PMU-A).
