School of Business and Communication Arts performs an EdPex assessment for the academic year 2021

Assist. Prof. Dr. Prakobsiri Pakdeepinit, dean of the School of Business and Communication Arts (BCA), the school’s management team, faculty, and staff, participated in the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) assessment. The assessment is achieved to ensure the school’s excellent performance on educational quality by linking important management aspects into a systematic process for sustainable development.  

The dean and the management team presented the school’s essential performances over the past academic year, setting the milestones for achieving the EdPex, such as situational analysis, strategic development plan, employee engagement, identity construction of students, building cooperative networks, and international engagement. Moreover, representatives of the school’s faculty and staff gave the interviews to the assessment committee, in which the interview results were part of the school’s EdPex scores. The assessment committee includes Asst. Prof. Tawanchai Phohom, the chairman of the assessment, vice dean for quality assurance and planning, the School of Engineering, Ubon Ratchathani University, Dr. Pralongyut Sripalwit, vice dean for special affairs and international relations, the School of Science, University of Phayao, and Mr. Athikom Boonsue, vice dean for academic and quality assurance, the School of Engineering, University of Phayao. In addition, the witness for the assessment includes Assist. Prof. Dr.  Chittima Kaweera, dean of the School of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao, and Asst. Pro. Dr. Siriporn Praesri, vice dean of the College of Management Bangkok, University of Phayao.

This assessment aims to provide the school’s management team, faculty, staff, and related stakeholders with the year-end review 2021 and the process of measuring the effectiveness of the school's performances following EdPex.

The undertaken assessment supports SDGs 4, 5, and 17.
