The Bachelor of Engineering Programme in Industrial Engineering School of Engineering University of Phayao, led by Mr. Anothai Klakankhai, a lecturer in the programme, organised the Industrial Engineering Sports and Relationship-Building Event (IE@DOI 2026) on Saturday, 8 August 2026, at the CHOM PARK Sports Field.
The event was held to provide first- to fourth-year Industrial Engineering students with opportunities to exercise and promote physical well-being. It also sought to foster the values of sportsmanship—accepting defeat with grace, celebrating victory with humility, and showing forgiveness—while creating a platform for students from different year groups to build positive relationships.
In addition, the activity aimed to encourage collaborative learning by enabling students to develop essential skills in communication, coordination, responsibility, and teamwork. These competencies are vital not only to their academic studies but also to their future professional careers in engineering.
IE@DOI 2026 therefore represents another meaningful initiative to strengthen unity, foster positive relationships, and cultivate mutual support among Industrial Engineering students. Ultimately, the event contributes to the development of a strong learning community and prepares students to excel academically, collaborate effectively with others, and lead fulfilling lives.
