On August 8, 2026, the School of Energy and Environment (SEEN), University of Phayao, organized a training workshop entitled “Application of SketchUp Software in Environmental Engineering” to enhance students’ digital design competencies and professional skills. The project was led by Dr. Satawat Tanarat, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, who served as the project coordinator and welcomed the participants.
The workshop featured Mr. Rittayut Kontong from the Department of Civil Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Phayao, as the guest lecturer. He provided comprehensive training on the fundamentals of SketchUp, including basic operations, essential tools and commands, and the development of both 2D and 3D models. Participants gained practical knowledge on how the software can be effectively applied to environmental engineering design and planning.
Held at Room SEEN 2301, University of Phayao, the training was attended by third-year students and aimed to strengthen their professional competencies through hands-on experience with industry-recognized software. The knowledge and skills acquired from this workshop will support students in their academic studies, practical training, and future careers in environmental engineering and related fields.
