On Monday, 16 February 2026, University of Phayao officially opened Knowledge for All 2026 (the 13th UP Book Fair), led by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Phongsabangpho, President of the University, together with the university’s executive team. The event is organized by the Institute of Learning Innovation and takes place from 16–20 February 2026 at the Ground Floor of the Institute of Learning Innovation Building, University of Phayao.
The event aims to foster a Culture of Reading, promote Equitable Access to Knowledge, and support Teaching, Research, and Lifelong Learning for students, staff, and the general public. It also serves as a key mechanism for driving the university’s Lifelong Learning policy and building a Knowledge-Based Society aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Key activities include executive-led book selection, exhibitions by leading bookstores, Reading Promotion programs, Knowledge-Sharing Forums on Local Culture, food, and wisdom of Phayao Province, as well as author–reader sessions that encourage critical and creative thinking. The program also features Creative Workshops and informal learning activities that enhance 21st-Century Skills, integrating art, creativity, and Experiential Learning beyond the classroom.
Knowledge for All 2026 reflects the University of Phayao’s role as a university for Area-Based and Social Development, committed to expanding Educational Opportunities, reducing knowledge access inequality, and strengthening lifelong learning for sustainable development in all dimensions.
