The Bachelor of Engineering Program in Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, University of Phayao, organized the “Professional Field Study Project in Mechanical Engineering” during 19–22 October 2025 in Chachoengsao and Chonburi provinces. More than 60 third-year mechanical engineering students participated in the program, which aimed to broaden their perspectives and deepen their understanding of real-world industrial practices.
The field study provided students with opportunities to observe and experience the actual working environment of leading industrial organizations in Thailand, including the Bang Pakong Power Plant, Mitsubishi Motors (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and Visavakit Patana Co., Ltd. Through these visits, students gained insights into the practical applications of mechanical engineering principles within large-scale production systems.
Beyond technical learning, the program served as an experiential learning platform to enhance students’ analytical thinking, teamwork skills, and comprehension of modern industrial standards—all of which are essential competencies for becoming qualified mechanical engineers who are ready to drive Thailand’s industrial sector into the future.
Furthermore, the project inspired students to reflect on their career aspirations and professional pathways while showcasing the academic strength and potential of the Mechanical Engineering Program. It also encouraged prospective students who are passionate about engineering to explore their interests and join the “ME-UP” family (Mechanical Engineering – University of Phayao) in shaping a promising and sustainable future together.
