The School of Liberal Arts Organizes Support Staff’s Presentation of Applying Gen AI in Routine Tasks
On July 10, 2025, The School of organized a project for support staff’s presentation of best practices in applying Gen AI tools and other essential technologies to enhance the efficiency of routine tasks. These tools can support document preparation, data analysis, and content creation, along with promoting effective, safe, and ethical use.
The activities consisted of:
1) Support Staff’s Presentation of Best Practices Prior to Training
Support Staff’s Presentation of Best Practices Prior to Training on applying Gen AI for administrative document preparation using tools such as the Notebook Language Model and ChatGPT. Other key technologies were also introduced to improve work convenience and save time, such as web-based workload systems, Microsoft Forms, and Google Forms, for creating electronic documents in administrative work, personnel management, academic services, student affairs, public relations, IT, and procurement.
2) Support Staff’s Presentation of Future Applications of Gen AI Tools Introduced in the Training
Support Staff’s Presentation of Future Applications of Gen AI Tools Introduced in the Training. This included tools like NotebookLM, DALL·E, Midjourney, Adobe Express, and Microsoft Copilot, which can be applied to future tasks in areas such as language center operations and financial services.
3) Discussion and Reflection on the Use of Gen AI Tools
Discussion and Reflection on the Use of Gen AI Tools along with a needs assessment for developing an information system to enhance routine work. The insights gathered will contribute to the School's information system development plan aimed at supporting work operations, fostering innovation, and building staff capacity for future applications.
