School of Liberal Arts Welcomes Teachers and Students for Study Visit on Undergraduate Programs and Curriculum Management


     On Friday, December 12, 2025, the School of Liberal Arts, University of Phayao, welcomed administrators, teachers, and students from Rajaprajanugroh 24 School, Phayao Province, for a study visit on the School’s undergraduate curriculum and teaching management. The activity took place from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with 15 teachers and 96 students (from Matthayom 4–6 / Grades 10–12) participating to broaden their educational horizons and enhance their learning experience in higher education.



     The welcoming team was led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chittima Kaweera, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, along with Mr. Nattaworn Wongjittratorn, Associate Dean for Student Quality, and the chairs of the undergraduate programs: Dr. Benjaporn Thepseenu (Assistant Dean for Academic Affairs and Chair of the B.A. Program in English), Dr. Jarukan Jitwongnan (Chair of the B.A. Program in French), Dr. Warunya Yingyongsak (Chair of the B.A. Program in Thai), Ms. Phanphitchaya Phanyafu (Chair of the B.A. Program in Japanese), and a representative from the B.A. Program in Chinese.


     During the visit, the School of Liberal Arts collectively presented information on its curriculum and teaching approach, emphasizing the development of graduates with language competency and a Global Mindset to prepare them for international professional contexts. Key offerings presented included:

  • Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Programs in Thai, French, Chinese, Japanese, and English, which allow students to select an additional minor language to foster bilingual graduate potential.

  • Dual Degree Programs in English–Chinese and English–French, which can be completed within five years or less.

Furthermore, the presentation highlighted the School’s readiness in:

  • Cooperation Networks with Enterprises to promote domestic and international internships and Cooperative Education (Co-op) placements.

  • Qualified Teaching Faculty, both Thai and international, who are certified and quality-assured.

  • Modern and Internationally Standardized Language Learning Support Facilities, such as the language laboratory, the language center for international standard testing, language training software, and Learning Spaces conducive to self-directed learning.


     This study visit underscores the School of Liberal Arts’ readiness to serve as a hub for language and cultural learning, instilling confidence in educational institutions, teachers, and students as they plan for quality higher education enrollment.
