University of Phayao Honors Outstanding Engineering Students
at Day of Honor 2025
    

On August 28, 2025, School of Engineering, University of Phayao, led by Associate Professor Dr. Nattapong Damrongwiriyanupap, Dean of the School of Engineering, together with Dr. Anujit Phumiphan, Assistant Dean, and the Student Affairs Division of the School, participated in the prestigious “Day of Honor 2025” organized by the Division of Student Affairs. The event was held at the Muang Phayao Auditorium, University of Phayao.

The ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Phongsabangpo, President of the University of Phayao, who delivered the opening remarks and presented plaques of honor to distinguished contributors supporting the university’s activities. Certificates of Honor were also awarded to a total of 1,260 students in recognition of their outstanding achievements during the 2024 academic year. These accolades celebrated students who have brought distinction to the university, demonstrated exemplary leadership, and actively participated in extracurricular activities across various fields, including arts and culture, ethics and morality, health and recreation, volunteerism and community service, as well as academic and life skills development. Among the honorees, engineering students received recognition in two categories:

• Ms.Thananyapat Srisawat – Honorable Mention, National Ice-Cream Stick Structural Competition (Civil Engineering), 17th Thailand Championship

• Mr.Saengla Meena – Honorable Mention, National Ice-Cream Stick Structural Competition (Civil Engineering), 17th Thailand Championship

• Mr.Anan Chomchopphairapana – Honorable Mention, National Ice-Cream Stick Structural Competition (Civil Engineering), 17th Thailand Championship

• Ms.Pavinee Thammakson – Academic Excellence Award 2024, Engineering Education and Research Fund under the Royal Patronage of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Thailand
