On August 28, 2025, School of Engineering, University of Phayao, through the leadership of Asst. Prof. Dr. Damrong Amorndechaphon, Chair of Doctor of Philosophy Program in Railway Engineering and Technology, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Wasana Naku, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, and School members of the program, participated in the Internal Quality Assessment at the program level for the Academic Year 2024. The assessment was held at the Automotive and Transportation Technology Center (ATTC).

The evaluation committee was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Netiya Kreethachat, School of Energy and Environment, University of Phayao, with Lecturer Pornpana Somjit, School of Public Health, University of Phayao, serving as an external expert member.

The assessment focused on key aspects including teaching and learning management, curriculum administration, student development, and the quality assurance system. Its purpose was to ensure that the Railway Engineering and Technology program maintains high academic standards and is capable of producing graduates who are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the railway industry and modern technologies.

This initiative reflects the School of Engineering’s strong commitment to enhancing the quality of education and reinforcing confidence in the capabilities of Thai engineering graduates.
