On August 23, 2025, School of Engineering at the University of Phayao organized the “Stories from Seniors” activity as part of the Pre-Internship and Co-operative Education Preparation Program for the 2025 academic year. The event took place at Room CE 07208, the New Multi-purpose Learning Building, aiming to enhance students’ skills, understanding, and readiness for entering the professional world.

During the event, the School also held a ceremony to honor five outstanding alumni for their notable achievements and contributions to the School, as well as for serving as role models for current students. The awardees included Mr. Watcharapong Srikham, Mr. Ritthayut Khonthong, Mr. Jakraphon Kamjai, Mr. Wiwat Inkhrong, and Mr. Anon Jakdee.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Natthapong Damrongwiriyanupap, Dean of the School of Engineering, together with the administrative team and School members, emphasized the importance of student preparedness and highlighted the strong collaboration between the School and its alumni association. The alumni played a vital role in sharing firsthand experiences, inspiring students, and connecting professional networks to empower the next generation, fostering confidence and career development potential.
