On July 27, 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Worathep Sae-Long, a School member of School of Engineering University of Phayao, was honored with the Outstanding Young Alumni Award at the 2024 Prince of Songkla University Alumni Awards Ceremony. The event was held at the 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King's Accession to the Throne International Convention Center, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus.

      The 2024 Alumni Awards recognized outstanding alumni in five categories: 34 recipients for Career Achievement, 10 for Notable Contributions, 11 for Social and Institutional Contributions, 4 for Promotion of Ethics and Morality, and 14 for Outstanding Young Alumni.

      School of Engineering extends its heartfelt congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Waratep Saelong on receiving this prestigious award. His dedication, capabilities, and determination serve as a valuable source of inspiration and a role model for the younger generation of students.
