SEEN-UP, collaborates with external networks to organize a workshop on “Enhancing Personnel Capacity for Local Smart Water Management.”

On January 22-23, 2025, the School of Energy and Environment (SEEN), University of Phayao (UP), in collaboration with the National Water Resources Office (ONWR), Chiang Rai Provincial Administrative Organization, Mahasarakham University, Chulalongkorn University, and external experts, organized a workshop on "Enhancing Personnel Capacity for Local Smart Water Management." Funded by the Area-Based Development Research Fund (ABDRF), the workshop targeted executives responsible for water management projects, policy and planning officers, engineering staff, and community leaders in Chiang Rai Province and neighboring areas. Held at the meeting hall of Thoeng District Office, Chiang Rai, the workshop aimed to provide comprehensive learning about water management processes in local areas, enabling participants to develop tailored water management plans and projects for their communities.
